Biodynamic Wine Tasting
Biodynamic techniques lend themselves to the production of wine, and there has been a recent resurgence of biodynamic and organic wine production, partly because the taste is noticably improved, and partly because the artificial ingredients in non-organic wine lead to hangovers!
But biodynamic principles can also be used when tasting wine. Ever wondered why the same wine tastes different / better on different days?
The answer can be found in the Biodynamic calendar.
Every day is a good day to drink wine, but some days are better than others…
– Fruit days (red) are BEST for bringing out the taste of the wine
– Flower days (yellow) are neutral in terms of taste
– Leaf days (green) will not do the wine any favours
– Root days (brown) will have a negative effect on the wine flavour
