Moon Path

The moons' position relative to the earth is the driving influence for Lunar Gardening:

MOON PATH

For two weeks each month, the moons path climbs a little higher (ascends) above the horizon, and for the next two weeks its path descends closer to the horizon, as the sun does in its yearly cycle.

An ASCENDING moon path draws the sap of the plants upwards, which makes it a good time for grafting, and for harvesting of produce above the ground.

The moon is passing in front of the constelations of Saggittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, entering Gemini.

A DESCENDING moon path draws the sap down so its a good time to plant or transplant seedlings. The roots connect a lot better with the soil helping the plant to establish itself faster.

The moon is passing in front of the constellations of Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, entering Sagittarius.
